Four years ago, we fell in love with the North Costa Blanca. The atmosphere, the light, the landscapes… it immediately felt like a place we wanted to return to. Eventually, we decided to build a home there.

While furnishing our house, we realized something was missing…

A coffee table book that truly captured the essence of this remarkable region. Not a collection of standard tourist images, but a book that reflected the feeling of being there.

So we decided to create it ourselves.

A year and a half ago, we began photographing Xàbia (Jávea). Every part of the project was created entirely by us. From the photography and creative direction to the book design, typography, material selection, print production and even the sustainable cover, every detail was carefully considered to create a timeless publication.

The result is a luxury coffee table book of more than 250 pages—a tribute to the place that inspired us from the very beginning.

What started as something we simply couldn’t find for our own home has grown into one of the projects we’re most proud of. It perfectly reflects what we do at Rijk in Beeld: transforming an idea into a complete brand and product experience through strategy, design, photography and creativity.
